Utilizing the famous biodiversity of Trelawny, this artisan terroir driven rum is made without compromise by one of the world's greatest distilleries. To preserve the inimitable character of this region and the legendary character of Hampden rums, the molasses is fermented very slowly with wild yeasts only, 100% pot distilled and proofed exclusively with natural, local spring water. There are zero additives and the color is completely natural as well after a minimum of 7yrs of tropical aging on the island. A historical rum that is bottled overproof for this special edition.
